Conditional Design Workbook - The Beach

The Beach

We were told to get into groups of 4 people, each with our own individual colour of pen/pencil. Players would take turns drawing dots on a piece of paper in the centre of the largest white space available. We would then stop when we feel the paper/beach is crowded.

The final outcome above led me to believe that everyone had there own interpretations of how crowded the beach would become, different individuals would place there dots in different places meaning the outcome would never be something you personally intended.
It showed how many variations can be possible from only a few set of people, it also shows how many people can have different variations on how rules work within a task. Meaning the end result can be so eratic.
