Branding - Character Development

We were asked to create quick and simple ideas of characters ranging from animals to objects to use as figureheads, these images would then be used as branding on cereal boxes so that we can get varied ideas of how Character Development and Branding works.

So we began by sketching out ideas on paper using varied influences, some of these ideas were then refined to pick something that would go on the front of the boxes. These ideas would then be combines with text and obvious sets of information on cereal.

Original ideas came from picking animals found on the internet and using the animal to combine with a word or name that would sound catchy, simple sketches were the way forward with nothing to confusing, knowing that they would then be refined later on.

The images below are the refined products of steps I have taken beforehand they consist of spending a little more time to get a better finished product.
